Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data xz1 ("we", "us") collects when you use xz1.in and our dashboard, and how we use it. It applies to workspace owners and members, and to visitors who click an xz1 short link.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your name and email address (from Google sign-in, or the ones you enter yourself).
• A securely hashed password, if you sign up with email and password — we never store your password in plain text.
• The links, workspace settings, and subdomain you create.

Click data from your links

When someone clicks a short link, we log the data needed to power your analytics dashboard:

• Coarse location (country, region, city, and approximate coordinates) derived from an offline lookup at click time. We do not store the visitor's IP address — only this derived, coarser location.
• Device type and browser/OS, parsed from the browser's user-agent string.
• The referring page, if any.
• A first-party visitor identifier (a cookie, not your IP) used only to tell unique visitors apart from repeat clicks.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in to the dashboard, and a first-party visitor cookie on links to de-duplicate clicks. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run xz1, each acting as a data processor on our behalf:

• Google, for account sign-in.
• Stripe, for billing and subscription payments.
• Our hosting and database providers, to run the application and store data securely.

We do not sell your data, or the data of anyone who clicks your links, to third parties.

Data retention

We keep account and click data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us — see below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us and we'll act on your request promptly.

Children's privacy

xz1 is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 13 years old.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
